Dietary Manager – Skilled Nursing Facility
Ridgeway Post Acute | Full-Time | $30-$35/hour

Ridgeway Post Acute is hiring an experienced Dietary Manager to lead our dietary department in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting. If you're an organized, hands-on leader who's passionate about resident satisfaction, food safety, and team development, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do

  • Lead meal planning, food preparation, and dining service for residents
  • Ensure meals meet physician diet orders, approved menus, and portion standards
  • Manage department budget, food/supply ordering, and cost control
  • Hire, train, schedule, and supervise dietary staff
  • Maintain sanitation and food safety compliance (federal, state, local regulations)
  • Process diet orders and maintain accurate resident diet records
  • Conduct resident nutritional assessments and monthly nutrition notes
  • Plan special meals for holidays and facility events
  • Partner with nursing, activities, and the facility Dietitian on resident care
  • Participate in QA and Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) meetings
  • Lead dietary staff training and in-service education
  • Perform regular kitchen safety and cleanliness inspections

What We're Looking For

  • Completion of an approved Dietary Manager training course (state/federal certified)
  • 1+ year of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing dietary department preferred
  • Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) a plus
  • Current, active Dietary Manager certification in good standing
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Frequent standing, walking, reaching, pushing, pulling
  • Occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crawling
