Our dietary team plays an essential role in supporting resident health, recovery, and overall well-being through nutritious, appetizing meals served with care and compassion.

As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals in accordance with physician-ordered diets, sanitation standards, and resident preferences. You will work closely with the dietary department to ensure an exceptional dining experience for our residents.

Essential Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to approved menus, recipes, and dietary requirements.
• Ensure food quality, taste, presentation, and portion control standards are met.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment.
• Follow all food safety, infection control, and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with food preparation, storage, inventory, and kitchen organization.
• Collaborate with dietary staff and interdisciplinary team members to support resident nutritional needs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience required; healthcare, skilled nursing, or institutional cooking experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
