Tonganoxie Terrace is actively hiring a Dietary Cook to prepare meals that meet nutritional guidelines and resident preferences. The Dietary Cook plays a vital role in food quality, safety, and resident satisfaction. As a Dietary Cook, you will support daily meal production and kitchen operations while ensuring a positive dining experience for residents.

Schedule and Employment Type

• Full-Time Days (6AM – 2:30PM) | Rotating Days depending on scheduling needs

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare meals as the Dietary Cook according to menus, recipes, and dietary guidelines
• Ensure meals meet quality, portion, and presentation standards
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control protocols
• Properly handle, store, and label food items
• Assist with kitchen cleanliness, dishwashing, and organization
• Support dietary team operations and meal service as needed

Qualifications

• Cooking or food service experience preferred
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable attendance and strong teamwork skills
