Are you an experienced Dietary Cook with a background in Skilled Nursing Facilities, Post-Acute Care, or Healthcare Food Service? Do you take pride in preparing meals that not only taste great but also meet residents' specialized dietary needs?
Canyon Springs Post Acute is growing, and we're looking for a reliable, dependable, and hardworking Dietary Cook to join our dedicated dietary team. Our residents depend on quality nutrition every day, so we are seeking someone who understands the importance of consistency, food safety, and providing excellent service in a healthcare setting.
Compensation
$20.00 - $21.00 per hour (Based on experience)
What You'll Do
Prepare and cook meals according to approved menus, recipes, and therapeutic diets
Ensure meals meet dietary restrictions, physician orders, and quality standards
Accurately measure, weigh, and prepare ingredients
Monitor food freshness, quality, and proper storage procedures
Plate and serve meals attractively and efficiently
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment
Follow all food safety, infection control, and sanitation guidelines
Work collaboratively with the Dietary Manager and interdisciplinary care team
What We're Looking For
Previous Dietary Cook experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Rehabilitation Center, Assisted Living, or Healthcare setting strongly preferred
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
Knowledge of therapeutic diets, texture-modified diets, and food safety regulations
Ability to work both AM and PM shifts as scheduled
ServSafe Certification preferred
Team player with a positive attitude and resident-focused approach
