Job Description

NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.

Responsible for managing all facets of a food and nutrition program: Children and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), ensures program compliance within federal regulations. Maintains new and existing application and renewal process. All scope considered to be for the CACFP program unless stated otherwise.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below:
Program Administration
• Responsible for the operation of the program & the maintenance of the records that support the monthly claim for reimbursement & compliance with any requirement for that process
• Completes and submits new or amends existing acquisition applications & pre-approval forms
• Facilitates annual application in the renewal process
• Coordinates all procurement & bidding processes for vendors and caterers
• Communicates with individual State Regulators responsible for the program updates, initiatives, inspections, or general information
• Engages and communicates with workforce to facilitate tasks, achieve compliance, obtain necessary information, problem solve and implement action plans
Compliance
• Organizes Centersand ensures completion of annual Meal Benefit Application for each participant enrolled in the program
• Coordinates and validates compliance with the new hire and annual training for all programs
• Coordinates and validates compliance with Centers’ maintenance of program costs, documentation, including receipts, invoices, catering tickets & proof of program labor
• Reviews and validates accuracy and compliance with the program enrollment rosters to determine participant eligibility category.
• Remains current in regard to and communicates all updates and amendments to applicable policies and procedures in individual states and the Food Nutrition Program
Data Integrity
• Determines the correct eligibility of reimbursement category for each person served
• Maintains the tracking system & validates compliance within the monthly requirement and minimum standards and eligibility as a percentage of the total enrollment or licensed capacity whichever is the lesser for all centers
• Conducts data collection of the ethnic and racial data for the site visits and documents during the monitoring visits for programs
• Conduct edit checks to ensure calculations in the enrollment roster → attendance → meal count are accurate prior to claim submission for all centers
• Collaborates with Registered Dieticians on meal substitutions & meal reimbursements
Reporting
• Collects, reports, and monitors data for the grievance process
• Correlates metrics and reports to ADH Senior Leaderships on program outcomes and updates
• Collaborates & communicates with Finance on Claims Submission reconciliation & revenue
Training
• Develops training schedule for all programs and conducts training for administrative and operational leadership
• Attends state required trainings for CACFP or Food Nutrition Program
• Performs other related duties and activities as required.

Minimum Knowledge and Skills required by the Job

Education and Experience:
• Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2 – 4 years’ experience in a related administrative or program management role

Normal Office Work, Data Entry:
Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
