Dietary Aide – Part-Time Weekends

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and serving meals, snacks, and beverages
• Help create a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for residents
• Assist residents with mealtime needs, including feeding and drinking assistance when needed
• Follow dietary guidelines and special meal requests
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and dining environment
• Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas
• Work closely with the dietary team to ensure meals are prepared and served accurately and on time
• Provide friendly, respectful, and compassionate customer service to residents and staff
• Assist with food production, cleaning, and other kitchen duties as needed

Qualifications

• Previous food service, dietary, restaurant, healthcare, or senior living experience preferred
• Experience in an assisted living or nursing home setting is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Friendly, positive attitude with a genuine desire to help others
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to assist residents with their mealtime needs
