Diablo Valley Post Acute is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team full-time on the PM shift.

Position Details

• Position: Dietary Aide
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Shift: PM Shift Only
• Hours: 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM
• Pay Rate: $18.54 per hour

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, serving, and food distribution
• Set up and clean dining and kitchen areas
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Assist with maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
• Help prepare and deliver meals according to resident needs and dietary requirements
• Support the dietary team with daily kitchen duties
• Provide courteous and respectful service to residents

Qualifications

• Previous dietary, food service, or healthcare experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work the PM shift consistently
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Ability to follow instructions and food safety guidelines
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to interact respectfully and professionally with residents and staff
