Central Gardens Post Acute
Full-Time
Pay: $20.00–$21.00 per hour

Central Gardens Post Acute is seeking a dependable and team-oriented Dietary Aide to join our Dietary Services team. The Dietary Aide assists with meal preparation, tray service, dishwashing, kitchen sanitation, and food storage to help ensure residents receive quality meals in a safe and clean environment. This position reports directly to the Cook and Dietary Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with meal tray setup, meal service, snacks, and nourishment preparation.

  • Operate the dishwasher, wash dishes, and monitor dishwashing sanitation and temperature requirements.

  • Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen by cleaning work areas, equipment, refrigerators, and floors.

  • Store groceries properly, remove trash, and support the dietary team as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Ability to read and follow recipes, procedures, and instructions.

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

  • Must obtain and maintain a valid Food Handler’s Certificate.
