LOCATION: Midland, TX

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time, Onsite with Travel

CONTEXT: Our client is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician – Fleet Service Trucks to maintain and repair a fleet of Ford diesel trucks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working specifically with Ford Powerstroke engines, performing diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance to ensure the fleet operates safely and efficiently.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform full-service maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Ford diesel trucks.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot engine, electrical, fuel, and emission system issues.
• Conduct engine rebuilds, injector replacements, and component overhauls as needed.
• Utilize Ford diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve performance issues.
• Maintain detailed service and repair records for each vehicle.
• Ensure all work complies with company safety standards and DOT requirements.
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Order necessary parts and materials; maintain inventory of repair supplies.
• Keep work area clean, safe, and organized at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic (Ford-specific experience preferred).
• Strong technical knowledge of Ford Powerstroke diesel engines.
• ASE or Ford certification is a plus.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and repair software.
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals and wiring diagrams.
• Must provide own tools (specialty tools provided by company).
• Valid driver’s license required (CDL preferred but not required).
