Thermo King Northeast is hiring a full-time Diesel Technicians for all shifts to join our team in Buffalo, NY!

• Hourly Rate: $20.00 - 45.00
• Schedule: 1st and 2nd Shift Available (Monday through Friday Schedule)

Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on a variety of vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues.
• Complete required repair-order and parts-usage documentation.
• Respond to road calls as needed.
• Own and maintain the hand tools required for the role.
• Follow direction from the shop foreman or other supervisor.

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma, technical school, or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of automotive, truck, or bus repair.
• Certifications & Licensures: Valid Drivers License, NY Motor Vehicle Inspector Certificate (preferred)
• Tools & Equipment: Own and maintain the proper hand tools to perform job functions.
• Skills & Competencies: Proficient with computer operation and usage.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, climb, reach, twist, stand, walk, and work in and around vehicles for extended periods.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop equipment safely.
