Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old (21+ years old required to operate company vehicles)
• 1-2 years of related trades experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Vocational or technical training may be substituted for experience
• Currently enrolled in an accredited Apprentice Technician program is a plus
• Basic computer skills, including timekeeping and repair order entry
• Understanding of safe work practices and procedures

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with inspection, maintenance, and repair of diesel vehicles and equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance services
• Learn diagnostic and troubleshooting techniques from experienced technicians
• Accurately complete repair orders and documentation
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
