Key Responsibilities

• 
  Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on diesel-powered mining equipment.
• 
  Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
• 
  Conduct preventative maintenance inspections.
• 
  Minimise equipment downtime through effective troubleshooting.
• 
  Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
• 
  Complete maintenance reports and job cards accurately.
• 
  Assist with breakdown repairs and emergency maintenance.
• 
  Maintain workshop tools and equipment in good working condition.
• 
  Support continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department.

Minimum Requirements

• 
  Qualified Diesel Mechanic (Red Seal Trade Test preferred).
• 
  Minimum 3 years' experience working on diesel-powered equipment.
• 
  Previous mining industry experience is essential.
• 
  Experience with heavy earthmoving or mining equipment will be advantageous.
• 
  Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• 
  Good understanding of hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• 
  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• 
  Valid driver's licence.
