
HEAVY VEHICLE DIESEL MECHANIC: Join Australia’s Leading Sustainable Materials Supplier.
We are looking for full-time Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanics to join our team on the day shift in January 2026!
Working out of our Laverton North Workshop, you’ll be maintaining and repairing our road transport fleet.
In this role, you will:
Repair and maintain our transport fleet
Inspect and diagnose faults and the condition of our vehicles
Identify any worn or damaged parts
Carry out preventative maintenance services, maintaining vehicle records
Complete and submit the necessary paperwork and reports

From $45 per hour, plus penalties, plus super
Monday to Friday day shift, standard hours 6:00am – 3:30pm with additional overtime available
Saturday shifts on offer, but not mandatory

This role is a great fit if you:
Are a qualified Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic
Hold a valid white card, or willing to obtain one
Have a commitment to safety
Have experience with heavy equipment, such as trucks and earthmoving equipment (preferred)
Experience with Kenworth/Mack/Volvo equipment preferred, not essential
Like working in a clean, modern, and well-lit workshop
Want to work with a great team
All successful applicants will be required to complete a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screening. Random drug and alcohol tests are conducted on all Alex Fraser premises.
