Job Description

Weinberger Disposal, a Waste Connections company, is now looking for a reliable Day Shift Diesel Technicianto work on our Heavy Diesel Equipment.

Competitive Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour based on experience

Shift: Monday - Friday

Start Time: 5:00 AM

Experience changing oil/filters or other preventative auto/diesel required.

The job is full time in a shop, permanent, and local with no traveling required

  • Perform repairs and inspections, safety checks, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systemson diesel vehicles.
  • Utilize vehicle computer electricalsystems to interpret failure modesto identify and adjust Engine and Vehicle Control modules
  • Respond to road calls for emergency repairs
  • Reviewing, Completing or assigning repairs identified on driver Vehicle InspectionReports.
  • Completing required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenancesoftware programs.
  • Test drivingtrucks after services and repairs
  • Helping other team members with repairs as needed
  • Having professional and courteous interactions with our drivers when needed.
  • Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
  • Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

What we need from you:

  • Proficiency in a variety of diesel vehicle diagnostic tools, preventative maintenanceand repair.
  • Oil changing
  • Basic tool set
  • Hydraulicexperience is a plus
