Waste Pro is hiring an experienced Diesel Mechanic A / Heavy-Duty Fleet Technician for our West Palm Beach maintenance facility This position is ideal for a skilled technician with experience diagnosing and repairing diesel trucks, CNG vehicles, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, emissions systems, and heavy-duty vocational equipment.
You will work on a fleet that includes Mack, Peterbilt, Freightliner, and Autocar trucks; Heil and McNeilus refuse bodies; diesel and Compressed Natural Gas vehicles; Liquefied Petroleum Gas and hybrid-powered equipment; and hydraulic, electrical, emissions, drivetrain, and brake systems.

Work Environment
This position is performed both indoors and outdoors and requires working in a busy maintenance shop with frequent exposure to heavy equipment, vehicle traffic, noise, dirt, grease, chemicals, and varying weather conditions. Occasional road calls and work in extreme weather may be required.

* Employees in this job classification are responsible for keeping up to date on current technology, as job appropriate, being used by Waste Pro.
