We are hiring qualified HGV and Bus Mechanics with 2+ years of experience in maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on brands like Scania, Volvo, and Mercedes. If you hold an HGV license, speak fluent English, and have an EU or UK passport (or existing right to work in Ireland), this could be the role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections and maintenance in line with DOE schedules and regulatory standards.
- Communicate with the mechanical foreman to ensure the timely sourcing of parts and materials.
- Complete service documentation accurately and on time.
- Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
- Carry out maintenance and repairs on leading vehicle brands, including Scania, Volvo, Mercedes, Iveco, and MAN.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Fully qualified Mechanic with recognised certification.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in HGV and bus maintenance.
- Diagnostic skills in both electrical and mechanical systems.
- Computer literacy required for maintenance reporting.
- Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to meet operational needs.
- Valid HGV Driver Licence is essential.
