Diesel Mechanic (2nd Shift 4pm-4am) – Dallas, Texas

Join WasteConnectionsas a Diesel Mechanic and keep our fleet running strong! We’re hiring experienced techs to perform maintenance and repairs on garbage trucks—covering everything from hydraulicsand electrical to engine systems. This is a hands-on, outdoor role for someone who takes pride in their work and values safety
💰 What We Offer:
• $22.00–$30.00/hour based on experience Plus $2,500.00 Stay on Bonus
• $150/month tool allowance + annual boot stipend
• Full benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K match, Life Insurance)
• Consistent hours: 50–60 hrs/week, Mon–Fri + some Saturdays

ð ï¸ What Youâll Do:
â⢠Perform preventative maintenance& inspections
â⢠Diagnoseand repair hydraulic, electrical, and engine issues
â⢠Handle on-road breakdowns and emergency calls
â⢠Keep shop clean, organized, and safe
â⢠Accurately document all work performed

Requirements:
â⢠3+ years of diesel or heavy truck experience
â⢠Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
â⢠ASE cert and CDL (A or B) a strong plus
â⢠Reliable, hard-working, and safety-minded
â⢠Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
