Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Junior Diesel Generator Engineer to join our dynamic team in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of diesel generator sets and related power systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation, commissioning, and testing of diesel generator sets and associated control systems.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, inspections, and servicing of generators to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system faults, and carry out necessary repairs under supervision.
• Support senior engineers in conducting load bank testing, fuel system checks, and emission control assessments.
• Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and parts inventories.
• Liaise with clients and suppliers professionally when required.
• Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and local regulations at all times.
• Continuously update technical knowledge and skills through training and on-the-job learning.

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. With at least 2 years related experience.
• Basic understanding of diesel engines, alternators, and automatic transfer switches (ATS).
• Willingness to learn and develop skills in generator control systems (e.g., Deep Sea, ComAp, Woodward) is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good command of both English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage.
