Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech? Vishay Dale Electronics – Columbus, NE is currently seeking applicants for a Die Technician (Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm). Overtime is available as needed. R esponsible for performing machining and die work to help enhance and enable the production processes for Vishay.

Job Location:

Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology. There are around 600 employees currently working in Columbus, NE. We are one of the largest employers in the Columbus Area.

What you will be doing:

• Operates all types of machine tool equipment such as lathes, drill presses, milling machines, and surface grinders to produce tooling fixtures.

• Troubleshoots and changes out tooling in precision stamping dies as needed.

• Checks and inspects machining operations against specified tolerances.

• Makes adjustments or repairs to equipment as necessary.

• Identifies to Supervisor or Lead-person any specification, equipment, or material shortcomings.

• Performs other various tasks as directed from the Supervisor.

What you will bring along:

• Technical Certification and/or 1 to 3 years machinist experience

• Ability to read, write and perform arithmetic calculations.

• Prior production experience is desirable
