Role Details:

We're looking for a mechanically minded operator with strong computer skills to program and run the automated equipment at the heart of our die-making process.

What you'll do:

• Program and prepare die designs using CAD software
• Operate automated laser, waterjet and bending equipment to produce flat and rotary cutting formes
• Deliver high-quality formes that meet customer specifications and turnaround times
• Carry out routine maintenance on automated equipment to keep it running at its best
• Achieve site targets and KPIs for quality, output and speed to market
• Follow safe work practices and maintain a high standard of housekeeping
• Review work processes and help identify improvements and update procedures

What You Will Bring:

• Experience using CAD software and strong computer skills
• Sound mechanical and mathematical reasoning
• High attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality
• Good communication skills and a flexible, team-focused approach
• Die-making or laser, waterjet or bending equipment experience highly regarded

About Centre Line Die Formes

Centre Line Die Formes is Visy's specialist die-making division. From our Reservoir site, we design and manufacture the flat and rotary cutting formes that Visy's corrugated plants use to cut and crease cardboard packaging, helping new box designs get to market quickly and accurately.
