Job Title: Printing Operator (Night Shift)

Location: Greenwood, South Carolina, USA

Join Lonza’s manufacturing team in Greenwood, SC, where you will play a key role in transforming capsules into finished pharmaceutical products. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced production environment while contributing to quality-driven processes that positively impact millions of people worldwide.

Schedule: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

This is a fully site-based role. Working together in person supports close, real-time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

What you will do:

  • Operate capsule imprinting and printing equipment to produce high-quality finished products.
  • Rotate between printing and finishing areas to support production schedules and business needs.
  • Perform finishing and weigh counter activities while maintaining established quality standards.
  • Monitor equipment performance and support efficient manufacturing operations.
  • Maintain compliance with safety, quality, attendance and productivity expectations.
  • Complete cleaning activities within print booths and production areas to support Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Collaborate with team members and other stakeholders to achieve production goals and continuous improvement objectives.

What we are looking for:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, production, printing, or operations environment is preferred.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to successfully complete and score 100 or below on the required Color Test.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make independent decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
  • Flexibility to work a 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM night shift, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.

Desired:

  • Prior experience or knowledge in print operations.
