Our BYD After Sales team is looking for a Diagnostic Technician for our Zaventem & Wijnegem site. In this role, you ensure every vehicle leaving the workshop meets the highest standards of safety, performance, and reliability. You will work with advanced technology and play a key role in solving complex technical challenges.

What you’ll do

• Perform maintenance and repairs in line with the highest quality and safety standards.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and accurately.
• Conduct test drives and quality checks to validate completed work.
• Strictly follow manufacturer guidelines, procedures, and quality standards
• Prepare accurate and complete service reports.
• Support the preparation of accurate cost estimates when required.
• Ensure the workshop is properly equipped with the right tools and materials.
• Share knowledge with colleagues and contribute to the technical development of the team.
• Provide clear technical explanations to customers when needed.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A secondary technical diploma (automotive mechanics, electronics, or similar).
• Experience in the automotive sector, preferably in diagnostics.
• A strong focus on quality, accuracy, and structured work.
• A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and share knowledge.
