Job Description

At Servco Maui, we provide top notch service to our customers. Our Diagnostic Specialists will service and repair Lexus vehicles, including performing a variety of bumper to bumper service/repair jobs and receive factory training. Will also take the lead in diagnosing difficult to repair vehicles and assist with training new technicians.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately diagnose, service, and repair Servco Lexus vehicles

• Document notes and recommendations on the repair order

• Inspect vehicles and advise Service Consultant of any areas of concern so customers are informed

• Ensure work is completed accurately and done safely

• Assist with difficult to diagnose vehicles

• Assist with training new and less experienced technicians

• Road test vehicles with customers

• Maintain and exceed minimum shop production standards

• Attend all required factory training and obtain all required certifications

Requirements:

• Associate of Science Degree in Auto Technology or equivalent work experience

• Must be able to secure at least one Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification within 18 months of being hired

• Valid driver’s license and strong driving record

• Ability to safely operate manual and automatic transmission for a variety of vehicle sizes

• Good communication skills

• Must own a basic set of automotive repair tools

• Good problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail

• Lexus technical experience, diagnostic experience, safety inspection license and ASE certifications preferred

Our Diagnostic Specialists are paid a competitive hourly wage and production incentive. They are also compensated for their ASE certifications and receive factory training in our climate-controlled Hawaii training facility.
