The Diagnostic Radiology Technologist at UAMS Clinic in Bentonville is responsible for producing high-quality radiographic images for medical interpretation and assisting in patient examinations and treatments as needed. This role operates under the supervision of the manager and involves interpreting health record documentation to identify diagnoses and procedures affecting outpatient visits. The position does not include supervisory responsibilities over other diagnostic radiology technologists.

Minimum Qualification:
High School Diploma; completion of a two-year certification program or an associate degree that is accredited by the ASRT in Radiology Technology.
Three (3) years or more of experience working as a Radiology Technologist preferred.
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist and Licensed by the State of Arkansas in Radiology Technology.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Strong knowledge of radiographic imaging techniques and patient care protocols.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure patient-centered care.
Ability to read, write, and follow oral instructions.
Knowledge of all required supplies and equipment necessary for each procedure.
Knowledge of the Anatomy of vessels and organs in the body (for proper positioning).

Key Responsibilities:
Operate radiographic equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images.
Assist in patient examinations and treatments as required.
Review and interpret health record documentation to ensure accurate identification of diagnoses and procedures.
Adhere to UAMS policies, including Core Concepts of Patient and Family Centered Care, which emphasize dignity, respect, information sharing, participation, and collaboration.
May perform other duties as assigned.
