Key Responsibilities
• Lead, plan, and execute commissioning of electrical systems including switchyards, substations, transformers, protection systems, motors, and plant electrical equipment.
• Develop commissioning strategies, schedules, and procedures aligned with project and safety standards.
• Oversee pre‑commissioning, functional testing, and performance validation of electrical systems.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, automation, and operations teams to ensure interface readiness.
• Review drawings, engineering documents, protection schemes, and test reports for technical accuracy.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, LOTO procedures, and statutory electrical standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during testing or energization phases.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with quality and technical specifications.
• Prepare commissioning documentation and ensure smooth handover to operations.
• Mentor and guide site commissioning teams to drive excellence and collaboration.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 12+ years of experience in electrical commissioning roles within power, EPC, or energy sectors.
