Job Description
Title:
DG BOSS: Plumber (FN)
·Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of IAW the Performance Work Statement (PWS) to support warm base operations and exercises.
- Performs maintenance and repair works under the direct supervision of a Journeyman Plumber or higher-level craftsman.
- Observe and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment.
- Performs other work-related duties and activities as directed.
Basic Qualifications
- Must have an excellent understanding of all safety directives and policies regarding the operation of equipment
- Knowledge of plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installation techniques
- Knowledge of plumbing codes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and written reference material
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations
- Ability to diagnose and resolve problems
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Must be able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to, bending, standing, climbing, or walking.
- Must speak, read, and understand the English Language.
- Must pass overseas medical screening and be in good health.
- Must have a valid Professional Driver’s License with at least Restriction Code 2.
- Must have basic knowledge of Maximo and Tablet.
Preferred Qualifications
JOB SPECIFICATIONS: SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS OR TRAINING:
- Plumbing certification/s is required.
EDUCATION:
- Must have at least High School diploma, Vocational or Technical course Graduate is required.
EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of three years of experience in the operations, maintenance, and repair of plumbing.
