Job Description

Product Strategy & Portfolio Management (20%)

  • Define and execute the digital loans and savings strategy aligned with the Bank’s Digital Financial Services.

  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap for digital lending, digital savings, micro-savings, micro-lending, goal-based savings, fixed savings, and embedded financial services solutions.

  • Identify market opportunities and customers’ needs to drive innovation and portfolio expansion.

  • Manage the overall profitability, growth, and performance of the digital loans and savings portfolio.

  • Drive continuous product enhancement to ensure competitiveness and market relevance.

Digital Product Innovation (20%)

  • Lead ideation, conceptualization, and development of innovative digital lending and savings solutions.

  • Design customer-centric products that address the needs of retail, SME, youth, women, and underbanked segments.

  • Explore emerging technologies, alternative data sources, artificial intelligence, and digital credit assessment models to support product innovation.

  • Promote financial inclusion through accessible and affordable digital financial products.

Product Lifecycle Management (10%)

  • Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, including concept development, business case preparation, requirements gathering, product development, testing, rollout, optimization, and retirement.

  • Oversee product performance throughout the customer lifecycle and implement enhancements to improve adoption and profitability.

  • Develop product pricing, customer value propositions, and go-to-market strategies.

  • Monitor product utilization and customer engagement to identify growth opportunities.

Digital Lending Management (10%)

  • Lead the development and optimization of digital loan products, including salary advances, mobile loans, nano-loans, SME digital credit, and ecosystem financing solutions.

  • Drive portfolio growth while maintaining appropriate risk-return balance.

  • Collaborate with Risk, Credit, and Analytics teams to develop credit decisioning and scoring models.

  • Monitor disbursement volumes, portfolio quality, customer repayment behavior, and product profitability.

  • Develop responsible lending practices that support sustainable portfolio growth.

Digital Savings Management (10%)

  • Develop and manage digital savings products that encourage customer engagement and deposit mobilization.

  • Drive customer adoption and growth of digital savings accounts and investment-linked solutions.

  • Implement initiatives that promote long-term savings behavior and financial wellness.

  • Monitor deposit growth, accountancy, customer retention, and product profitability.

Customer Experience & Journey Management (10%)

  • Enhance customer experience through customer journey mapping, UX/UI optimization, and digital engagement strategies.

  • Identify customer pain points and implement improvements to simplify product access and usability.

  • Utilize customer insights and analytics to improve product performance and customer satisfaction.

  • Ensure seamless onboarding and servicing experiences across all digital platforms.

Partnerships & Ecosystem Development (10%)

  • Establish and manage strategic partnerships with fintechs, MNOs, credit bureaus, technology providers, aggregators, and ecosystem players.

  • Explore embedded finance and ecosystem lending opportunities to expand customer reach.

  • Drive innovations through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Manage partner relationships, commercial arrangements, and service-level agreements.

Project Delivery, Implementation & Governance (10%)

  • Ensure successful execution of product initiatives through effective project management practices.

  • Oversee quality assurance processes, UAT, pilot testing, and product release governance.
