Job Description

DEXIS is seeking experienced Independent Clinical Training Contractors to provide post‑sale application training for dental imaging products across Canada. Contractors can conduct training both online and in-person training for doctors and their staff. Instructors play a critical role in driving customer satisfaction, clinical confidence, and product adoption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver post‑installation, hands‑on, and virtual clinical training for DEXIS digital imaging solutions in dental practices
  • Train end users on:
    • 2D intraoral sensors and cameras
    • 3D extraoral imaging (CBCT, Panoramic, Cephalometric)
    • Imaging and workflow software (DEXIS / DTX Studio, Tx Studio, InVivo, VixWin, ScanFlow)
    • Intraoral digital scanners
  • Document and report completed trainings

Contractor Engagement Details

  • This role is a Canadian independent contractor engagement, not an employee position
  • Contractors are responsible for their own:
    • Taxes
    • Insurance
    • Business expenses (unless otherwise agreed in writing)
  • Engagement volume will vary based on regional demand and business needs
  • Must be available to dedicate a minimum of two (2) or more days per week when engaged

Job Requirements:

Requirements

  • Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH), Certified Dental Assistant (CDA), or equivalent dental credential with a Radiation Safety certification
  • Minimum 3–5 years of hands‑on clinical dental experience
  • Active dental radiography / X‑ray certification (as applicable in province)
  • Demonstrated experience training clinicians or dental staff on technology
  • Proven ability to work independently and remotely as an independent contractor
  • Strong customer‑facing communication and presentation skills
  • Highly organized with strong documentation and follow‑through
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and standard CRM / reporting tools
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned territory
  • Personal laptop which will accommodate DEXIS software and reliable internet access required

Language Requirements

Quebec role:

  • Fluency in French and English (written and spoken) required

Vancouver role:

  • Fluency in English required
  • French is considered an asset

Preferred Experience

  • Prior experience delivering clinical or technical training for dental imaging or digital workflows
  • Advanced knowledge of dental radiology or imaging workflows
  • Experience with multiple software platforms in a clinical environment
  • Previous work as a certified instructor, trainer, or field clinical specialist
