The DevOps Platforms Leader is responsible for the strategy, governance, modernization, support, and enterprise adoption of the organization's DevOps platforms and software delivery ecosystem. This role provides leadership over the platforms, services, standards, and operational practices that enable secure, scalable, and efficient software delivery across the Digital Product Delivery, Digital Technology Services, and Data, Analytics & AI teams.
This position leads the evolution of enterprise DevOps capabilities including Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, CI/CD platforms, release automation, source control, developer enablement tooling, application security integrations, quality engineering tooling, platform analytics, and related services. The role is accountable for ensuring these platforms are reliable, well-governed, cost-effective, scalable, and aligned with enterprise engineering, security, compliance, and delivery objectives.
This leader partners closely with Software Engineering, Quality Engineering, Security Operations, Application Security, Product Delivery teams, and platform consumers to define roadmaps, establish standards, improve developer experience, accelerate software delivery, and mature the enterprise's DevOps operating model. The role also drives continuous improvement through platform observability, adoption metrics, compliance reporting, automation, training, stakeholder engagement, and operational excellence.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other computer-related degree required.
• 10+ years of diversified IT experience
• 3+ years of direct or indirect leadership experience
