Position

Apogee's is seeking a DevSecOps Platform Engineer to work within our dynamic team. As a DevOps Engineer, you’re eager to develop, manage, and secure a container platform that meets your client’s needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. We need you to develop container management software to solve some of our clients’ toughest challenges. Required

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in DevOps, or 5+ years of experience in DevOps in lieu of a degree
• 5+ years of experience in an Infrastructure, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineer role
• 3+ years of experience automating, monitoring, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters in a production environment
• 3+ years of experience deploying applications into Kubernetes
• 2+ years of experience with a cloud provider, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Experience developing enterprise cloud-native solutions and creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment
• Experience with Agile methods and practices
• Experience with Linux
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform, or Configuration as Code, including Ansible
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II or IAT Level III Certification

Additional Qualifications

• Experience with implementing and managing monitoring and logging solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack
• Experience evaluating and mitigating container vulnerabilities
• Knowledge of container security concepts and best practices
