Position: DevOps/Platform Engineer - Azure

Type: Full-Time | Permanent | Hybrid

Looking for DevOps / Platform Engineer to help design and operate the infrastructure and CI/CD platform supporting our cloud-based applications. This role focuses on building scalable deployment pipelines, managing infrastructure as code, and architecting secure Azure environments across multiple deployment stages.The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with GitHub Actions,Terraform/Terragrunt, and Azure cloud architecture, and is comfortable designing solutions that support multiple engineering teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, including reusable and shared workflow components

  • Build and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and Terragrunt

  • Architect and maintain Azure cloud environments across Dev, QA, and Production

  • Design and manage Azure networking, including VNets, subnets, routing, and security controls

  • Establish and maintain deployment standards and automation patterns across repositories

  • Manage GitHub repositories, branching strategies, and pipeline governance

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable and secure cloud solutions

  • Troubleshoot CI/CD, infrastructure, and cloud platform issues

Skills, Experience, Education, Certifications

  • University/College Diploma in Computer Science or a related field.

  • 5 years of experience as a platform engineer, cloud engineer, or in a related field.

  • Strong experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipeline design

  • Experience building reusable workflow pipelines

  • Strong experience with Terraform and Terragrunt

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services

  • Experience designing multi-environment architectures (Dev / QA / Prod)

  • Experience with Azure networking and security controls

  • Strong knowledge of Git and GitHub repository management

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with platform engineering or internal developer platforms

  • Experience working in enterprise cloud environments

  • Experience with container platforms or Kubernetes

  • Experience building reusable infrastructure modules

  • Any Certification is a bonus.

What You'll Actually Work On

You will help design and maintain the engineering platform that supports our cloud applications and development teams. The environment is heavily automated and infrastructure-driven.

Examples of the work you will be involved in include:

  • Building and maintaining GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines, including reusable workflows shared across multiple repositories

  • Managing infrastructure as code using Terraform and Terragrunt, with modular infrastructure patterns

  • Designing and maintaining Azure cloud environments with clear separation between development, QA, and production

  • Implementing and supporting Azure networking architecture, including virtual networks, private connectivity, routing, and security controls

  • Improving deployment automation and platform reliability across multiple services and teams

  • Partnering with engineering teams to design scalable cloud solutions and deployment strategies

This role is well suited for engineers who enjoy working at the intersection of cloud architecture, automation, and developer platforms, and who want to build systems that enable teams to deploy and operate software efficiently.

Compensation:

The targeted salary range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000 annually. The final offer will be based on factors such as market location, relevant skills, experience and internal equity.
