Job Description

We are seeking a versatile DevOps Engineer - or a Senior .NET Backend Developer with a passion for automation and infrastructure - to join our dynamic web development team.

The ideal candidate bridges the gap between code and production. Whether you come from a heavy infrastructure background or you are a backend developer who has mastered CI/CD and containerization, we want your expertise. You will be responsible for managing build and release pipelines, architecting custom application environments, and championing a "DevOps culture" where developers have the tools they need to deploy with confidence.

Responsibilities:

  1. Pipeline Architecture: Design, build, and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  2. Developer Experience (DevEx): Create and maintain tools that automate build, test, and deployment processes to make life easier for the engineering team.
  3. Environment Management: Manage Azure-hosted and Docker-based environments; ensure high availability and stability of our containerized .NET and Node.js applications.
  4. Code-to-Cloud Collaboration: Work alongside the development team to define and document "standardized" environments, bridging the gap between local development and production.
  5. Troubleshooting & Performance: Resolve issues within the deployment lifecycle and optimize application performance within the Azure ecosystem.
  6. Security First: Implement and enforce security best practices (DevSecOps) throughout the software development lifecycle.
  7. Innovation: Continuously evaluate new tools (IaC, observability, serverless) to evolve our tech stack.

Requirements:

  • Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Versatile Experience: Proven experience of minimum 5-8 years of relevant experienceas a DevOps Engineer OR as a Backend Developer (specifically .NET) with a strong secondary focus on automation and infrastructure.
  • The Tech Stack: Strong knowledge of .NET (C#) and Node.js, combined with hands-on experience in Azure DevOps, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Cloud Proficiency: Practical experience with Microsoft Azure services and web application architecture.
  • Scripting & Automation: Strong skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  • Methodology: A deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Soft Skills: Proactive problem-solving, attention to detail, and the ability to explain complex infrastructure concepts to developers.

Desired Skills:

  • Observability: Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Application Insights, or ELK.
  • Modern Version Control: Advanced Git skills (branching strategies, hooks, etc.).
  • Agile Mindset: Comfort working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

We offer competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and a dynamic and inclusive work environment. If you are excited about this opportunity and believe you have the skills and passion to succeed, we would love to hear from you.
