About the Role

As a leader of Engineering Operations, you will play a pivotal role in building and leading the teams responsible for Cloud Operations, DevOps, FinOps, and Security Operations. Your mission is to ensure that our SaaS platform is reliable, scalable, cost-optimized, and secure while enabling engineering velocity and innovation.

This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution. You will define the operational vision, evolve our practices, and partner cross-functionally with Product, R&D, Security, and Finance to deliver world-class service to our customers.

Responsibilities

Cloud & DevOps Leadership

  • Architect and manage multi-cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Own CI/CD pipelines and IaC frameworks (Terraform, Pulumi).
  • Define and enforce SLOs/SLAs with an SRE mindset.
  • Lead monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
  • Promote Kubernetes and scalable microservices practices.

Security & Compliance (SecOps)

  • Implement security across cloud, CI/CD, and runtime environments.
  • Lead security incident response and stakeholder communication.
  • Monitor for threats using SIEM/cloud-native tools.
  • Conduct risk assessments and security reviews.
  • Support business continuity and disaster recovery.

Financial Operations (FinOps)

  • Develop tagging, cost allocation, and forecasting strategies.
  • Enforce cost-efficiency policies and guardrails.

People & Process Leadership

  • Build and lead teams across CloudOps, SRE, FinOps, and SecOps.
  • Define operational processes and readiness reviews.
  • Foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
  • Report metrics and insights to leadership.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or related disciplines within SaaS or enterprise-scale environments.
  • 3+ years of experience leading technical operations teams and team leads in a Director or Senior Manager capacity.
  • Proven track record operating production environments on Azure and AWS (multi-cloud experience strongly preferred).
  • Deep expertise in infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation), Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling.
  • Strong knowledge of security and compliance standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).
  • Background supporting 24/7 customer-facing production environments at scale.
  • Experience implementing FinOps frameworks and optimizing cloud spend.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Advantages

  • Certifications in Azure, AWS, Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD), and FinOps Practitioner.
  • Experience with knowledge management or AI/ML-powered SaaS products.
  • Familiarity with ITIL, NIST, or ISO security frameworks.
