Position Title: Senior Platform Engineer
Department: Platform Services
Reporting To: Platform Manager
Role Purpose
Responsible for the design, implementation, and support of enterprise platform services, including messaging systems, identity services, container platforms, and Linux environments. The role ensures high availability, performance, and security of critical infrastructure while driving continuous improvement and automation.
Key Responsibilities
Provide L2 and L3 support on
Manage and support container platform environments, with focus on Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift (OCP)
Administer Linux servers (e.g., RHEL, CentOS), including patching, tuning, and troubleshooting
Microsoft Exchange Server (on-premises and/or hybrid)
Active Directory services (AD DS, DNS, Group Policy)
Perform in-depth root cause analysis for incidents and implement preventive measures
Design and implement platform improvements to enhance stability, scalability, and performance
Collaborate with internal teams (application, network, security) to ensure smooth service delivery
Prepare technical documentation and operational procedures
Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to junior team members
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure / platform engineering
Solid hands-on experience in:
Kubernetes (K8s), preferably Red Hat OpenShift (OCP)
Linux system administration
Microsoft Exchange Server
Active Directory and Windows Server
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
Experience in scripting/automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible)
Good understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing)
Experience with monitoring and logging tools is an advantage
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of DevOps and K8S practices
Relevant certifications (Microsoft, Red Hat, Kubernetes) are a plus

Require participation in on-call support / after-office hours support (with compensation leave)
Candidate with less experience will be considered for Engineer role
