Department and Project
You will become part of Compost, the infrastructure product squad within the Infrastructure Services Tribe. Compost is responsible for providing and operating critical compute, storage, and platform services that underpin internal infrastructure components as well as mission-critical business applications.In this role, your primary focus will be on Windows-based infrastructure services, operated in cloud and hybrid environments, including AWS, while working in a squad that owns a broader infrastructure portfolio.You think in services and lifecycles, not just systems: from design and provisioning to stable operation, continuous improvement, and decommissioning.You embrace a DevOps mindset, combining operational responsibility with automation, standardization, and close collaboration across teams. Reliability, security, and operability are at the core of your daily work.
A key part of this role is not only to ensure stable operations, but also to drive forward unresolved topics in the Windows environment, reduce operational dependency on individual experts, and actively transfer knowledge to internal team members.
