The position is fully remote and follows a part-time working model of up to 4 hours per day / 20 hours per week, with the possibility of extending to a full-time engagement in the future, depending on operational needs.

Monitoring and Health Checks

  • Monitor the health and availability of Oracle Siebel CRM components, including Gateway, Enterprise Server, and Siebel Servers.

  • Support approved changes to database table structures.
  • Participate in release activities according to the agreed release calendar.
  • Execute deployments based on provided artifacts, instructions, and approvals.

Incident and Problem Management

  • Investigate and analyze infrastructure and Siebel platform incidents.
  • Support root cause identification for recurring platform-related incidents.
  • Escalate incidents to relevant teams such as DBA, OS, Network, Infrastructure, or Vendor Support when issues fall outside the Siebel Administration scope.
  • Provide operational support on a best-effort basis within the agreed availability window.

Environment Provisioning

  • Create new operational environments.
  • Support environment provisioning and full environment rebuilds according to operational requirements.

Reporting and Communication

  • Communicate operational activities through agreed channels such as email, Microsoft Teams, and phone.
  • Provide periodic activity and incident summaries upon request.
  • Collaborate with client teams to prioritize tasks, obtain approvals, and coordinate release activities.

Calificări

  • Experience in log monitoring, incident investigation, and root cause analysis.
  • Experience with Siebel deployment and release activities, including repository migrations, SRF deployments, non-SRF changes, and Manifest updates.
  • Experience managing users and access in Siebel, including Responsibilities, Positions, and Organizations.
  • Understanding of incident management, problem management, escalation processes, and operational support practices.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with DBA, OS, Network, Infrastructure, and Vendor teams.

Operational Requirements

  • Availability to work remotely.
  • Availability for a part-time schedule of up to 4 hours per day / 20 hours per week.
  • Ability to work under a best-effort support model, without explicit SLAs unless otherwise contractually agreed.
  • Availability to participate in planned release activities according to the agreed schedule.
  • Ability to work based on approved requests, clear instructions, and client-provided artifacts.

Out of Scope Responsibilities

Unless separately agreed, the role does not include:

  • Active Siebel development, including configuration, scripting, workflows, Open UI development, or custom integrations.
  • Major upgrade or migration projects, such as Siebel IP/SIA upgrades, database migrations, or environment migrations.
  • Advanced performance tuning or capacity planning.
  • Architectural redesign initiatives or HA/DR implementations.
  • DBA, operating system administration, or infrastructure administration activities.
  • 24/7 on-call support or activities outside the agreed working schedule.
  • Resolution of incidents caused by unauthorized changes, third-party software, external infrastructure issues, hardware resource limitations, network problems, or security issues outside the Siebel platform scope.

Dependencies and Working Conditions

  • Siebel environments must already be installed and operational, or approved requirements must exist for provisioning or rebuilding activities.
  • Required access must be provided by the client, including VPN access, credentials, server access, and tool access.
  • Activities will be prioritized jointly with the client.
