We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team and support the full lifecycle of our embedded firmware development. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines, integrating new features and maintaining Yocto build system, enabling automated firmware compilation processes, and supporting deployment to the AWS cloud.

Teltonika’s networking solutions business unit develops and manufactures industrial and enterprise connectivity equipment, primarily routers, switches, gateways, and modems. Our networking devices serve clients in the most complex areas of Industry 4.0, Smart City, and Green Energy.

In this role, you will:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for embedded firmware projects.
• Integrate and enhance Yocto-based build systems for automated and reproducible firmware builds.
• Manage and automate firmware compilation, packaging, and release processes.
• Operate and maintain local server infrastructure for CI/CD builds and deployments in Linux environments.
• Work closely with software teams to ensure seamless build and deployment workflows.
• Maintain and improve the tooling for firmware release management, including versioning, artifacts, and documentation.
• Design and operate automations for cloud-based deployment and distribution using AWS services.
• Monitor various systems performance, troubleshoot build issues, and ensure high system reliability.
• Ensure DevOps best practices around automation, scalability, and security.
• Work in a team and support colleagues with technical questions.

What we expect of you:

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Build Engineer, or similar role.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts, including pipeline design and maintenance (GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
• Strong scripting skills (e.g. Python, Bash).
• Hands-on experience with cloud services and infrastructure automation.
• Strong knowledge of Docker, multi-stage builds, containerized workloads, and Linux-based environments.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Experience with Yocto Project or other embedded Linux build system.
• Knowledge of firmware build and release processes.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform or similar infrastructure management tools.

Salary

We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary matching your skillset and field expertise. The salary for this position ranges from 26 Eur/h up to 36 Eur/h (~4340Eur— 6000Eur) pre-tax, depending on your experience and expertise, with the option to get bonuses.

*In an employment agreement, we specify and define a fixed (tariff) hourly salary rate before taxes.
