Job Description

Highly skilled Technical DevOps Engineer specializing in providing managed services for a diverse range of customers. Technical DevOps Engineers play a crucial role in ensuring the security, stability, and efficiency of AllCloud clients' infrastructure by implementing and maintaining best-in-class DevOps practices. Technical DevOps Engineer, responsible for recurring tasks such as patch management, backup and restore services, as well as handling on-demand customer requirements and activities.

Responsibilities

The Technical DevOps Engineer is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of AllCloud Engage managed services to AllCloud Customers.

The roles and responsibilities include:

  • The Technical DevOps Engineer is responsible for delivering customer business outcomes related to AllCloud Managed Services.
  • Technical DevOps Engineers have a detailed understanding of their customers and their operating models, workloads, and managed environments. They consult with senior stakeholders and dive deep into the customer’s business to strive for operational excellence by continually exploring ways to reinvent and simplify the operating model, working relationships, and integration with AllCloud.
  • Technical DevOps Engineers dive deep into the customer’s business to gain a thorough understanding of the customer's use case, recommending improvements and methods to remove blockers.
  • Technical DevOps Engineers help launch new projects and provide best-practice recommendations throughout the software lifecycle and operational processes.
  • As needed, they work closely with AllCloud and AWS teams to ensure that changes to the customer’s environment are smoothly carried out while meeting capacity needs and service level agreements.
  • Technical DevOps Engineers are focused on customer satisfaction and business outcomes. When required, they will assist with resolving complaints linked to AllCloud Managed Service or AWS product and service performance.
  • Onboarding Workloads: Facilitate the smooth onboarding of new workloads onto the managed services platform. Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Ongoing Requirements: Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer requirements.
  • Patch Management: Monitor, identify, and apply missing OS and application patches in a controlled and timely manner. Implement comprehensive patch management strategies to maintain a secure and stable infrastructure.
  • Backup & Restore: Establish and manage an automated backup and restore service to safeguard critical AWS data and applications. Develop and execute backup and recovery plans to ensure data integrity and business continuity. Service Monitoring Configuration
  • AllCloud Application Delivery: will own complete management of AWS services associated with the application stack within the cloud environment, covering the infrastructure required to run your workloads, including CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code packages, and on-demand support, allowing you to focus on your business needs and service roadmap while we handle the rest. The AllCloud Application Delivery Service works closely with AWS Solutions Architect guidance.
