In Luxembourg, we are a strong workforce of almost 150 professionals operating from 2 modern offices, including an Innovative Tech Department: a focused group of around 30 specialists in cutting-edge technologies; embracing a vendor-agnostic approach, this team cultivates deep expertise across diverse cloud providers, open-source technologies, and other innovative tools, enabling us to craft tailored solutions that best fit our clients' needs.

As a Junior DevOps Engineer within our Innovative Tech Department, you will join a client mission centered on Linux support, where solid system fundamentals meet modern DevOps practices; you will build your expertise across cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD, while developing a genuine appetite for AI-driven operations and continuous learning; if you enjoy combining hands-on technical work with a curiosity for emerging technologies, this role is your springboard into the DevOps world.

Your key responsibilities

• Assist with the deployment and maintenance of cloud infrastructure (CI/CD, prod/staging environments);
• Help automate build, test and deployment processes through CI/CD pipelines;
• Contribute to containerizing applications (Docker) and their orchestration (Kubernetes);
• Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code and configuration management scripts (Ansible);
• Take part in system monitoring (monitoring, logging, alerting) and incident support on Linux environments;
• Collaborate with development teams to improve DevOps practices and environment reliability;
• Contribute to Linux-based support activities in a client environment, ensuring system stability and operational continuity.

Qualifications

What we're looking for

You have up to 3 years of experience, including at least a first hands-on experience (internship or equivalent) in a Cloud, DevOps or Linux environment.

Must-have:

• Solid basics in Linux administration (command line, process management, permissions, system troubleshooting);
• Configuration management with Ansible;
• Notions of scripting (Bash and/or Python);
• Knowledge of CI/CD principles and a versioning tool (Git, GitLab CI, Jenkins or GitHub Actions);
• Notions of containerization with Docker;
• Awareness of Cloud concepts (AWS, Azure or GCP) — an academic or personal project is a plus;
• Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS);
• Notions of monitoring/observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus).

Softskills: Technical curiosity and eagerness to keep learning | Rigor and attention to detail | Strong team spirit | Autonomy | Ability to stay calm under pressure

Nice-to-have:

• Notions of Kubernetes or container orchestration;
• Notions of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Puppet, CloudFormation);
• Junior-level cloud certification (AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, etc.);
• Curiosity for AI-driven operations (AIOps, GenAI-assisted monitoring/troubleshooting) as an emerging trend in infrastructure teams.
