A DevOps Engineer in the Data Driven Trading (DDT) team ensures the smooth development, delivery, and ongoing operation of the software systems the desk depends on. We partner with developers, quantitative researchers, and traders in Dublin and across the globe to deliver reliable, efficient software at scale.
The role focuses on production stability, CI/CD reliability, robust tooling, and enabling engineering teams to build and ship software efficiently across a highly distributed environment.
You will work closely with global engineering and DevOps resources to operate and improve the systems that are a critical dependency for the trading desk. The primary focus of the role is to improve the reliability and operational effectiveness of Quantitative Research tools and systems, while streamlining new capabilities that unlock value for the desk.
The successful candidate thrives in a fast-paced, distributed engineering environment and is comfortable participating in critical parts of the delivery pipeline. They combine strong operational discipline with a proactive approach to automation and continuous improvement, and are curious about applying AI to reduce repetitive work. They communicate clearly with developers and traders, take initiative in diagnosing complex issues, and consistently drive problems to resolution. A successful engineer in this role is someone who not only solves problems, but also strengthens the systems, tools, and processes that prevent those problems from recurring.
