Job Description

monday.com is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join the BigBrain group (monday.com Data platform) to build new infrastructure features and directly impact the future of our data platform and Big Data domain.

This is an opportunity to join us during a very exciting phase of designing and building a new feature for our internal data platform, BigBrain.

You’ll join our DevOps team based in our headquarters in Tel Aviv, Israel.

The BigBrain group consists of diverse teams, including Data Scientists, Full-Stack Engineers, Data Engineers, and BI Engineers.

We manage the data backbone of our company, which enables monday.com to thrive through A/B testing and to support decision-making based on the data we collect and serve.

About The Role

  • Work closely with Engineering teams, taking full responsibility and ownership from conception to post-deployment in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Design and execute our happy paths to increase developers’ velocity.
  • Take full ownership of our platform infrastructure to handle the scale of billions of daily events.
  • Provide tools to monitor the performance and health of all data processes.
  • Our Stack - AWS, TypeScript, Node.js, Terraform, ElasticSearch, Redis, MySQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Snowflake.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
  • Strong technical skills and a good understanding of systems and infrastructure.
  • Experienced with building the full application release cycle (CI/CD).
  • Familiar with how modern web applications work and scale.
  • Networking, firewall rules management, and application security knowledge.
  • Familiar with Linux environment, scripting, and programming.
  • Ability to see the bigger picture and carry out system architecture planning.
  • Understanding of products and a passion for building software that impacts millions of users.
  • Team player, egoless, strong communication skills, and empathetic.
  • Big Data technologies such as Kafka/Flink - Advantage
