This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a DevOps Engineer | AWS Cloud & Automation in Brazil.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a fully remote and international environment focused on building and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure and automation solutions. You will play a key role in supporting high-performance engineering teams by improving deployment pipelines, observability practices, and cloud security standards. The position combines infrastructure management, automation, and operational excellence, with strong collaboration across development and QA teams. You will contribute directly to the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of cloud-native applications running on AWS. Accountabilities:

  • Maintain and enhance AWS cloud infrastructure, including services such as ECS, EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, and related networking components.
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket for containerized applications built with .NET, Python, and Docker.
  • Implement and improve observability practices, including monitoring, alerting, and logging using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch.
  • Support and optimize automated testing processes, including integration, regression, and performance testing workflows.
  • Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM management, compliance controls, role configuration, and infrastructure hardening.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve critical infrastructure and application incidents in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Propose and implement improvements in cloud architecture, automation, scalability, and governance processes.
  • Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to ensure reliable, efficient, and secure software delivery.
  • Requirements:

    • Portuguese proficiency at C1 level or higher.
    • More than 4 years of hands-on experience working with AWS cloud environments.
    • Strong experience with AWS services such as EKS, ECS/Fargate, EC2, RDS, SQS, VPN, VPC, Transit Gateway, NAT Gateway, and IAM.
    • Experience working in ASP.NET environments.
    • Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket Pipelines and Docker container integration.
    • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CDK.
    • Strong Linux administration skills and experience with Shell/Bash automation.
    • Experience with Docker containers and orchestration solutions such as ECS/Fargate.
    • Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch.
    • Familiarity with Jira, SonarQube, Git version control, and Git Flow strategies.
    • Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL and/or SQL Server databases.
    • Experience with DataDog and additional CloudWatch capabilities is considered a plus.
    • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills in distributed environments.
