As a DevOps Engineer Automation, you will work as part of the Automation Platforms & Services team to design, develop, and deliver automation solutions for various IT teams and departments. Your broad IT knowledge and expertise will allow you to automate diverse IT components, ranging from networks and storage to servers, virtualization, cloud, and operating systems (Windows and Linux). Using tools like Ansible, Python, and CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, you will help reduce the operational load across the organization.
You will play a key role in moving towards zero-downtime operations, self-service functionality, and self-healing platforms. By implementing intelligent automation solutions, you will empower teams to deploy and manage their infrastructure efficiently while ensuring reliability and scalability.
Together with the rest of the team you will also be responsible for the operational activities related to the management of the planforms the Automation Platforms & Services team manages.
