We’re seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This is a hands-on role combining DevOps, platform engineering and systems expertise. You’ll work alongside software development teams, understand their applications and workloads, and help them migrate to modern, supported infrastructure and platforms.

You Will Be

• Working closely with development teams to understand their applications, workloads, configurations and runtime environments
• Supporting and actively driving infrastructure and platform migration projects
• Helping migrate workloads from legacy or unsupported environments to modern, supported platforms
• Contributing to Linux-based infrastructure and platform improvements
• Automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible
• Using Python to develop automation and tooling that supports engineering and operational processes
• Troubleshooting infrastructure, platform and application runtime issues
• Collaborating with engineering teams to improve the reliability, maintainability and efficiency of their environments.

You Will Need

• At least 3 years of professional experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering or a similar infrastructure-focused role
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux systems
• Practical experience with Terraform and Ansible
• Good Python skills, particularly for automation and tooling
• Experience working with Kubernetes and containerised workloads
• A good understanding of software applications, including application configuration and runtime environments

Nice to Have

• Experience with infrastructure or platform migrations
• Experience with Apache Airflow
• A software development background or previous hands-on development experience
