Job Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer / Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in cloud-native development, DevOps practices, and software engineering. In this role, you’ll lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance infrastructure and systems across diverse domains. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems related to data management, distributed systems, and performance at scale.

As a technical leader, you will deliver efficient and well-documented code, propose robust architectural approaches, and mentor peers while staying current with modern cloud and software engineering practices.

Strong DevOps experience, including CI/CD, containerization (Docker), testing, and automation

Hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions with AWS services, especially IAM, S3, Kinesis, Lambda, SNS

Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK

Experience collaborating across engineering, data, and product teams

Ability to propose scalable, low-latency, and reliable architectures

Experience conducting code reviews and providing technical mentorship

Basic Qualifications:

- Strong hands-on experience in DevOps, developing CICD pipelines with GitLab or GitHub - Deep Experience Python - Deep experience in AWS, particularly Lambda, ECS, Kinesis, S3, IAM - 5+ years of software development experience across diverse domains, with demonstrated ability in data management and distributed systems solving problems - Deep experience in at least one popular IaC framework like Terraform, Cloudformation, etc.

5+ years of software development experience across diverse technical domains

Proven experience solving complex problems in distributed systems and data management

Expert-level coding skills with strong attention to time and space complexity

Advanced proficiency in Python for backend or infrastructure development

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $85.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
