Remote Recruitment is hiring a DevOps Engineer to build, automate, and optimise delivery pipelines for a UK-based technology team. Fully remote from South Africa, you'll bridge development and operations — improving deployment speed, reliability, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support fast and reliable software delivery
• Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure using infrastructure-as-code
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability tools across all environments
• Collaborate with developers to improve build, test, and deployment processes
• Maintain security best practices across infrastructure and pipeline configurations

What You'll Need

• 4+ years of DevOps or platform engineering experience
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI
• Proficiency in Terraform or equivalent IaC tooling
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Reliable fibre internet and a dedicated home workspace

• Salary: R35,000 per month
• Full-time, permanent remote position
• Working hours: 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST)
