Job Description

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to support the development, deployment, automation, monitoring, and security of our cloud-based infrastructure and software delivery pipelines.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with CI/CD, cloud platforms, containers, infrastructure as code, and operational monitoring. In addition, this role requires a solid understanding of DevSecOps practices, including secure CI/CD pipelines, vulnerability scanning, secrets management, infrastructure hardening, and security-aware automation.

This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to grow into a more senior DevOps or DevSecOps role while working closely with engineering, security, and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
  • Support cloud infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Work with containerized workloads using Docker and/or Kubernetes.
  • Assist with infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, or similar.
  • Monitor system performance, reliability, availability, and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, networking, and environment issues.
  • Support development, staging, and production environments.
  • Automate repetitive operational tasks using scripting and configuration management tools.
  • Help improve deployment speed, system reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines, including SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, container image scanning, and IaC scanning.
  • Support vulnerability management processes by identifying, triaging, and helping remediate security findings.
  • Assist with secure secrets management using tools such as Vault, cloud secret managers, or CI/CD secret stores.
  • Apply security best practices for cloud infrastructure, containers, networks, and access control.
  • Help maintain least-privilege IAM policies and secure access patterns.
  • Support audit, compliance, and security documentation where required.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to promote secure development and deployment practices.
  • Monitor systems for security-relevant events and assist with incident response activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1–4 years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, systems administration, or a related role.
  • Practical experience with OVH or at least one major cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar.
  • Familiarity with Linux systems, shell scripting, networking basics, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Docker and basic container lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes or container orchestration concepts.
  • Basic experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
  • Understanding of Git workflows, branching strategies, and release management.
  • Basic knowledge of cloud security principles, IAM, encryption, secrets management, and network security.
  • Awareness of DevSecOps practices and common security tooling.
  • Ability to write scripts in Bash, Python, or another scripting language.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Kubernetes security, Helm, service meshes, or ingress controllers.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Trivy, Snyk, Checkov, SonarQube, Semgrep, OWASP ZAP, or Dependabot.
  • Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK/OpenSearch, CloudWatch, or similar.
  • Knowledge of vulnerability management and CVE remediation workflows.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, PCI-DSS, or CIS benchmarks.
  • Experience with policy-as-code tools such as Open Policy Agent, Conftest, or Sentinel.
  • Understanding of secure software supply chain concepts, SBOMs, artifact signing, and dependency pinning.
  • Experience supporting production systems in a SaaS or cloud-native environment.

Benefits

  • Competitive remuneration package adjusted to proven skills and experience;
  • Excellent working conditions;
  • Exposure to training and professional development capabilities, including the ability to engage in cutting-edge research;
  • Exposure to international clients and collaborators.
