This is a remote position.
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to support a cloud-based EGM management platform operating at large scale across complex infrastructure environments. The role focuses on platform engineering, automation, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and AWS infrastructure within a business-critical gaming technology environment.
This is a hands-on engineering role requiring strong experience with cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code, deployment automation, and improving developer experience across distributed environments.
Responsibilities
• Standardise deployments into repeatable one button workflows across multiple environments
• Support developers by improving SDLC paths, environments, CI/CD pipelines, templates and local development tooling
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform on AWS
• Manage SDLC toolchains including GitHub, CI/CD, artifact registries, scanning tools and deployment orchestrators
• Work with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Harbor, Nexus, SonarQube, Trivy, ArgoCD and Helm where applicable
• Shape networking and service mesh patterns including VPCs, connectivity for air gapped systems and Istio
• Embed security from the beginning, including secrets management, RBAC, hardening and compliance automation
• Build useful observability focused on reliability, performance and business impact
• Partner with engineering teams to define release strategies such as Helm based deployments, ArgoCD, canary and blue green releases
• Support system design decisions, document trade offs and improve platform standards
Requirements
• Strong mid level DevOps experience, ideally 5–6 years
• Strong hands on experience with AWS and cloud infrastructure
• Practical experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins
• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm and deployment automation
• Good understanding of Git discipline, versioned infrastructure and reviewed changes
• Strong scripting ability in Bash, Python, Makefiles or similar
• Experience supporting developers and improving SDLC processes
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ownership mindset
• Good English communication skills

• Experience with ArgoCD, GitOps and Helm based release models
• Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Fluentbit, OpenSearch or ADOT
• Experience with artifact registries such as Harbor or Nexus
• Experience with scanning tools such as SonarQube or Trivy
• Experience with Istio, API gateways, NGINX or HAProxy
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Ignite, RabbitMQ or SQS
• Experience supporting JVM or TypeScript SDLC
• Experience with air gapped systems or restricted network environments
• Experience in gaming, regulated environments or high availability systems
