Our main activity consists in setting up GE Vernova software in different environments for internal and external customers, supporting project activities and providing expertise in tailoring the components based on requirements. We have a hybrid work environment as we work from home, the office and travel to customer sites as needed.

The integration Devops engineer is a key member in all projects, being engaged throughout the full lifecycle (Development, Factory Acceptance Tests, Site Acceptance Tests, Cutover, Support) and specially in creating / deployment of software in data centre through automatic ways. Develop and enhance the test infrastructure and continuous integration framework used across teams at the service delivery team.

In this role, you will have end-to-end responsibility on the Software System Integration part of large and complex IT projects associated to the management of electrical grid Transmission, Distribution and Market to meet the schedule, cost and quality commitments.

In the context of Software Solutions (SWS) projects execution within the Services organization, the Solution Integrator makes sure all the various software applications and databases used for a Solution work together without compromising overall information system integrity.

To accomplish this role the DEVOPS Engineer must be able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with Implementation Services teams including Delivery Managers, Software Factories, Delivery Centers, and with the customer.

The DevOps Engineer will collaborate with delivery, security teams to design, automate, deploy, and support scalable and reliable infrastructure and application delivery processes. This role requires hands-on experience with modern cloud platforms, SaaS applications, and DevOps best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes
  • Manage cloud-based environments such as AWS / Azure / GCP
  • Work with Dockerand Kubernetesfor containerized deployments
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve delivery speed
  • Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, and application issues
  • Implement best practices for security, scalability, and high availability

Required Skills

  • 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineering
  • Strong knowledge of Linux / Unix
  • Experience with Git, Jenkins / GitHub Actions / GitLab CI / Azure DevOps
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Shell, Python, Groovy or Bash
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Codetools like Terraformor CloudFormation
  • Experience with Dockerand Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk
  • Good understanding of networking, security, and system administration

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters / Bachelors in Engineering
  • Exposure to microservices architecture
  • Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible
  • Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer, or equivalent
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

In collaboration with Methods & Tools

  • Drive excellence in execution through continuous improvement and change management to implement competitiveness improvement initiatives (costs base reduction, lead time reduction, DevOps framework, productivity improvement, quality improvement…)
  • Monitor the efforts performance measurement indicators


In collaboration with Maintenance & Support

  • Ensure a smooth transfer to maintenance of ending projects through coordinated knowledge transfer.
  • Can be solicited to provide some back-end support to maintenance team as part of the maintenance contract

Customer Management

  • Comply and contribute to elaboration of relevant Quality Procedures, work instructions and Processes in Quality Management System
  • Report or resolve any process non-conformances in a timely manner
