What We Need
Corpay is currently looking to hire a DevOps Engineer within our Buyatab division. This position falls under our Gift card line of business and is located in Vancouver, Canada. You will report into the DevOps Team Lead In this role and will join a high-performing DevOps team and collaborate with highly skilled Agile development teams to build and develop scalable and high traffic eCommerce solutions hosted in a cloud platform.

How We Work
As a DevOps Engineer you will be expected to work out of our Vancouver office location. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include:
• Planning, implementing, and deploying AWS infrastructure changes that improve platform reliability, scalability, security, and deployment velocity
• Working closely with software development teams to design, automate, and support AWS-based infrastructure and deployment pipelines
• Designing and maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Supporting and enhancing CI/CD pipelines to enable frequent, safe, and repeatable deployments
• Collaborating with engineering teams to define infrastructure, deployment, and operational requirements early in the development lifecycle
• Monitoring and proactively addressing infrastructure issues, escalating and proposing solutions when necessary
• Contributing to infrastructure standards, best practices, and documentation
• Building strong working relationships across teams and with external partners, communicating infrastructure needs clearly and effectively
Qualifications and Skills:
Required
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• 3–5 years of experience working in an Agile software development environment
• 3–5 years of experience building, operating, and supporting AWS infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as VPC, EC2, Lambda, IAM, Route 53, S3, and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., CloudFormation or Terraform)
• Experience enabling and supporting CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeDeploy, or CircleCI
• Practical experience with Git, Docker, and deploying applications to AWS environments
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and Linux and/or Windows Server administration
• Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or bash
• Familiarity with automation and configuration management tools (e.g., PowerShell DSC, Chef, Ansible)
• Experience enabling and using metrics, logging, and monitoring within cloud infrastructure
Nice to Have
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and cloud security controls
• Experience with Gerrit Code Review
• Exposure to high-traffic or customer-facing production systems
Soft Skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate across teams and explain technical concepts clearly
• Demonstrated curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to learn new technologies
• A pragmatic DevOps mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

At Corpay it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. The estimate of the minimum and maximum salary range is CAD 115,000 - 125,000
